  • Kelvin Plastic Private Limited: An industrial site in Rajkot to observe manufacturing and quality control.
  • Target Audience: 30 students from the 5th and 7th semesters of the Degree Mechanical Engineering program.
  • Key Highlights: BIS Office Session: Students were introduced to the "Standards Club" initiative.
  • They learned about the importance of the ISI mark, how to check the authenticity of products using the BIS CARE mobile app, and the role of the National Standards Body of India in nurturing quality awareness.

One day workshop on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning - Concept, Scope and Opportunities
  • Organization: Organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Labhubhai Trivedi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLTIET), Rajkot, in association with Shiv Refrigeration and the ISHRAE Rajkot Sub Chapter.
