ABOUT MAHATMA GANDHI CHARITABLE TRUST

Mahatma Gandhi Charitable Trust, Rajkot, is a premier and reputed public charitable trust established in 1965 by the noted social worker and educationist Late Shri Labhubhai Trivedi. The Trust was founded with the noble objective of fulfilling the educational needs of the middle-class section of society by providing accessible primary and formative education. Since its establishment, the Trust has remained committed to the principles and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and has steadily grown into one of the leading educational organisations of Saurashtra and Gujarat.

Over the decades, the Trust has expanded its educational activities and today manages a wide network of educational institutions, including primary schools, secondary and higher secondary schools, and colleges. With more than 700 staff members and over 20,000 students, the Trust continues to provide quality education while also encouraging young people to participate in various educational, social and public activities. These initiatives aim to develop independent thinking, personality, leadership qualities and a spirit of social responsibility among students. Guided by its founding values, the Trust continues its mission of serving society through education and creating opportunities for the holistic development of future generations.
